Tracie Alexander is the driving force behind Unique Trans-ition, Inc., having founded the organization out of her own experiences and deep compassion for the Trans-TGI community. As a transgender woman, Tracie has witnessed firsthand the challenges and discrimination faced by economically disadvantaged Trans-TGI individuals, inspiring her to take action and create a support network that addresses these unique needs. She began by using personal funds and fundraising efforts to provide essentials like food, temporary housing, and other necessary resources to vulnerable members of her community. Through her dedication and commitment, she helped countless individuals find stability, paving the way for Unique Trans-ition to become a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2022.

In her role as CEO, Tracie oversees the organization’s strategic vision, ensuring that it remains rooted in empathy, inclusivity, and empowerment. Her leadership style is collaborative, focusing on building a team and environment that uplift the community through culturally empathetic, tailored services.
